E.y.E is SMU's first investment interactive club. It was set up in March 2002 by a group of students who possess similar interest in investments and financial planning.
The rationale behind the setting up of this club is to allow the exchange of ideas and knowledge in this field between the students, and even faculty, of SMU.
The primary objectives of this club are:
* Stimulate interest for students who are interested in majoring in finance
* Increase awareness of investing, financial planning, and business opportunities available to students
* Allow interaction and networking, widening the scope of the students' knowledge
* Allow practical application through research
* Aid students in expanding their thoughts and reasoning ability through interaction with professors and related professionals
* Equip students with ample knowledge regarding investments in the real world
